    Round 2

    Round 3
    Join in any stitch above a dc from Round 1. Ch 1, sc in next 3 sts, ch 8, skip 3 sts; repeat around. Join and fasten off. (8 ch-8 sps)

    Round 4 Join in top of sc above a dc from Round 1. Ch 3 (counts as dc), 3 dc in same st, ch 7, skip 3 sts, 4 dc in next st, ch 7; repeat around. Join. (8 groups of 4 dc, 8 ch-7 sps)

    Round 5 Join in top of any 4 dc group. Ch 1, make a tr3tog across next 3 sts (counts as tr cluster), ch 5, tr3tog in next 3 sts, ch 5; repeat around. Join and fasten off. (8 clusters, 8 ch-5 sps)

    Round 6 Join in any ch-sp. Ch 1, 6 sc in each ch-5 sp around, ch 1 between groups. Join and fasten off.
    Place a marker in any ch-1 space. (48 sc + 8 ch-1 sps)

    Make a ring with ch 5.

    Round 4 Repeat previous round.

    Round 5 Sc around with increases in corners. (72 sc)

    Round 6 Work sc and tr post stitches for texture.

    Round 7
    Sc and dc to shape square edges. (92 sts)

    🔺 Triangle Motif
